went and saw Joel Plaskett (formerly of Thrush Hermit fame) last night at the Liberty Lounge. I guess I technically saw The Joel Plaskett Emergency. If they come to your town, go see them. It was like a 2 hour set (I'm not exaggerating), 2 hours of straight Joel Plaskett. Well worth the $10 price of admission, although I can imagine that if you didn't like Joel Plaskett it could be kinda torturous. The Dudes opened. Pretty standard Dudes show.. nothing to really comment on here.
