from Winnipeg we went off to Moose Jaw, where we stayed at the lovely Capone's Hideaway Motel. Apparently you can put a quasi-antique chair in a hotel room and call it a "theme hotel". The most exciting thing about Moose Jaw was that there was a beer opener in the bathroom. yes, you heard me right. so when you're sitting on the toilet and your Pil runs empty you can reach into the 24 you have stashed in hotel ice in the tub and open another one. HOT. or at least Herr Pinchy thought so.. I should proably take this opportunity to explain that Herr Pinchy was a road-trip mascot I was given by my good friend Lisa in Saskatoon. She brought him all the way from PEI for me and would be proud to see him drinking cheap beer.
On another classy note we both lost about $5 at the Moose Jaw Casino. Chatted with some older ladies. woo hoo. am not considering moving to Moose Jaw. ever.
